Westenra Corporate Travel is a boutique corporate and leisure business based in Auckland. We specialise in complex itinerary planning for clients using fares that combine the best airfare deals for connections, costs, frequent flyer points and short travel times. We cater for all parts of travel arrangements including airfares, rail, rental cars, accommodation, insurance and passport/visa requirements. Whilst we operate independently and manage our own client-base, we are associated with Orbit Corporate Travel / House of Travel. This gives us the buying power of one of New Zealand's largest corporate travel agencies, allowing us to pass on the best possible deals and packages to you. In an industry dominated by impersonal online travel bookings, we endeavour to keep our business personal.
Jeremy Westenra has 21 years’ experience at Air New Zealand in Sales and Marketing to thank for his depth of experience in the New Zealand travel industry. His insider knowledge benefits clients on a daily basis, whether he’s tracking down the very best airline deals or providing assistance during a travel emergency. In 1992 he left Air New Zealand to operate in the business for which he holds a passion, on his own account. For the last 15 years he has run his own corporate travel management business.
His duties involve managing client accounts, understanding in depth their requirements, liaising with suppliers and using all the tools available to get best value and satisfaction for the client. The aim is to be the client's ‘right hand man’ and an indispensable part of the transaction.
Jeremy has travelled through North Africa, Scandinavia, Russia, western Europe, Southern Africa, Japan, the United States and Canada and in September will be travelling to Washington DC, New York, England and Denmark.
June Westenra was formerly a product Manager in the food business and became involved in the travel industry fourteen years ago as the business expanded. June has visited Thailand, India (including the troubled Kashmir region), Tahiti and the Pacific Islands, Australia, Europe and the United States and she is a fully qualified Matai travel specialist for Fiji and also New Caledonia and a Tiare Agent for Tahiti. Her specialty areas include:
- Incentive travel, conferences and special interest groups
- Cruising - accreditation with international cruise council
- High-end VIP and luxury travel
In their spare time, Jeremy and June have a passion for skiing which has seen them travel to many ski resorts in the world in their pursuit of fresh powder! They also enjoy getting away to Taupo for a weekend of fishing and golf.
